Denver Children's Museum Target Tuesday's/Free Entertainment

The first Tuesday of every month families get in free from 4 to 8 pm.  This would be a really fun and frugal thing to do after going to Fazoli's for an inexpensive dinner.  Learn more here:

Find a Fazoli's location and sign up for email specials here:

On Tuesday nights kids eat for 99 cents and there are kids activities and a separate area of the restaurant for just kids.

On Saturdays check out the Denver Art Museum.  Kids under 12 are free and adults with a Colorado ID are free on Saturday's.

Go to Home Depot on Saturday, 8/7 to build a back to school pencil organizer.

Lowe's has kids building clinics on alternating Saturdays.

My daughter and I have had so much fun at these.  It is teaching her to have some much needed patience.  It won't be long before we can take "The Boy" with us and frankly I am NOT looking forward to him having a hammer!

Summer Kid's Movies

My kids and I did this last summer and had a blast!  You do need to get there early as these discount movies fill up fast, especially if you need stroller parking. Here's the schedule:
7/27 Kung Fu Panda
8/3 Spiderwick Chronicles
8/10 How To Train Your Dragon
